not that I know anyone about the Derv side of things (petrol person myself), what do they do to the diesel turbo, same thing as they would to a petrol turbo?

360 thrust bearing, largened turbine inlet, bigger turbine wheel etc?

hi mate this is what they did to my turbo :

Stage 2 – MD376
Hi flow GT20 spec compressor wheel, cnc machined compressor housing, 360 degree
thrust bearing, cut back turbine blades, lightening of turbine wheel for faster ‘spool up’,
modified V.N.T. turbine housing, uprated turbine seals. Other ‘blueprinting’
modifications.

it's a din gauge pod off eBay I got one but felt it looked a bit cheap it's just a thin bit of metal that lays on top but I might try And spray mine to match the surround then get some diff gauges

I have seen the gauge holders on ebay, but i got mine from america for about £20 its bit thicker metal than the cheap ebay ones you get. its like a radio panel that clips into DIN socket.

cool, tis what I thought then...a turbo is a turbo no matter if it is derv or petrol

yeah i think they work slightly different as in petrol have negative boost and diesel dont. but generally speaking they are same. Cant wait to get work done now, my turbo just sat in box waiting to be fitted.

thanks mate its an ibiza cupra 20vt. my mate took the picture on his phone and put an effect on it so i thought id put it to good use.

the clutch pedal and break pedal were really easy but the accelorator pedal had to be glued on as kept falling off.

I just used cheap car wash and auto glym high def wax so easy to put on and off. costs£39.99

yea i no yours are but yours seem to illuminate better then mine probably got a dodgy one so thought they might of been diffrent

i got the seven colour ones, the middle one is an older seris hence it wont keep colour you select. got turbo boost for £9.99 as end of line, volt for £12 and middle one for £13 bargin

Just a quick thought. Seeing as you have OEM HID's, do you have the washer jets in the bumper too?

If you do, good luck fitting an FMIC.

The pipework runs right were the jet is.
