Hi' I am a bit confused at the moment , I have just had new brake discs fitted and have noticed that I am experiencing juddering after approx 75mph? I do understand this. Any ideas
Lets assume the discs have been fitted correctly and the appropriate make, it does matter!
Its likely to be high spots on the pads, give them a while to settle, usually 200 to 300 miles.
Check the caliper sliding pins are tight too.
It's not juddering when braking, only above 75+. I had no issues when I was on my old discs. I don't think balancing the wheels again would make a difference would it ?
well my crystal ball isnt working at the min but...
i bet when they took the wheel off they caught it on the back plate for the disc its usually enough to knock off a balance weight or make it loose so when you drive down the road it drops off. Its that or they have left the wheel loose or something.
