Bargain oil at Asda.

Well, just been to my local Asda for the first time in a while....
5 litres of 5w30 fully synthetic for £19!!
5 litres of 5w40 fully synthetic for £14 !!!

And before anyone slates "supermarket" oil, they meet or exceed VW 504/507 and VW 502/505 respectively.

Think i will have some of that

I've never used supermarket oil and never will it's always been a no go for me

Do yourself and your car a favor and buy some real oil please. Your car will thank you for sure.

when tey say 'meet', it means they claim it's good enough. it's not certified by VW in any way, shape or form

theres massive issues with claims. like this.
theres now possible way to actually may a oil good at those prices. the additives cost more for the manufactures than that.
