Hello

I have already searched before you all jump on the bandwagen with the "DO A SEARCH" post....less hating, more loving!

Anyway, can someone explain how i would go about relocating my battery to my boot?

What would i need and how would i do it?

Many Thanks!!

Chris

using the search button does work!!lol

has anyone got any pics with the battery in the boot? really tempted to do this to give me more room in the front arounf the fuilter and the ns headlamp.

you searched? Lol.

I searched the site the other day as a relocated my battery on tuesday. Was easy. And you dont need any inline fuses as its fine with out them. Unless you get a high amp fuse because the cranking power is rather large. Lol. There will be a slight volt drop so use a good battery. All information i used was in the leon section and some info philw posted a while back

The reason for the inline fuse is for some extra protection as if say you had a break in the wire in the car under some carpet, the fuse would blow at the battery end and stop power.

Basically its just an extra bit of safety just in case and for the sake of about £5, probably less than that, its worth it
