Hi All,

I am considering replacing the 18" Factory Option Alloys on my 170 Tdi FR and fitting a set of BBS alloys.

I know a few of you guys have BBS alloys fitted so could anyone with any know how advise me whether 18" or 19" are best and what the cost would be.

Many thanks

Tracy

Mine 35mm lowered, 18" BBS CO(basicly a cheaper, heavier BBS Challenge wheel):

19 looks better imo but depends on the type, I like the CK model in 19":

Don't mind the color it's dealer showcar.

Not owning a mk2 Leon with BBS's there's not much I can offer other than ebay.de is the best/cheapest place to get them (or just search uk ebay with a EU search option).

Second bit of advice would be wait until next spring to change them because having owned more than my fair share of BBSs over the years I can confirm they are a Royal PITA to keep clean unlike Leon 5 spokes.

I actually have a set of BBS alloys on my Polo GTI but they are 5 spokes so easy to clean!!! They don't look anywhere near as sexy as CHs though!!!

Nick P, What offset do you have on your CK's? I've just received my BBS VZ alloys. Now just waiting for my leon to arrive in november

Thanks Nick. I've got ET 44's as well. You don't have any side view pics to see how far they stick out? I know it will be minimal but just interested to see

The BBS VZ is what I have, it will look like this:

almost flush in the front, maybe 5-10mm spacer:

could use a 15-20mm spacer in the back:

If you can't see the pictures, just reload them, photobucket is acting up, very slow at the moment.

Thanks for all the replies!

Looks like I will have to put the alloys on hold for a while as I have a scratched door to contend with:(repair! not my fault though (the other half:whistle:[:@])

Just hoping I can find a decent bodyshop now to do a good job on paint matching the original Black Magic colour:cry:

morleymakam....... Sorry, 18's are staying for a while:redface:
