Best Oil - 210 LCR

Hey Guys
I've searched the forums and i'm totally confused
One thing i know is that i need fully Synthetic oil (VW 502 00 VW 500 00) ??

I just need to top up the oil in my car, so want to pop over to halfrauds or motor world and pick up a small carton.

Can someone tell me what I need please.
oh and I dont want crap, only the best.

those vw numbers are printed on the back of all motor oil cartons so any with those numbers are vw approved

Mate you need VW spec 503:01 oil.

This superceeds the oil specs you have listed above.

I use Mobil 1 5w/30 oil

i use castrol edge 0w/30 oil

I use Carlube Triple R Fully Synth 0-40w

I use the Castrol fully synth 0-30W stuff, garage wanted to put semi-synth in but no way in a turbo car!!! Think they use the same stuff in the high performance TDI engines IIRC......
