Hi fellas,

I'm after some advice on wheels as I'm unsure on the best route/option open to me.

I've had my K1 for 2 years and I've never really liked the standard 18" wheels which are powder coated black with a diamond cut face.

I'm looking at changing the wheels but do I stick with 18" or go upto 19"? And for either option what do people recommend width and ET wise?

The car is sat on lowered springs, so the wheel selection is important as I can't adjust my height like you could with coilovers to get it looking right.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am partial to the BBS CH's, Rota GTR's or Japan Racing concave wheels.

I had concave on my previous Leon and i must say it looked perfect! Concave FTW!!
Not a fan on 19's too bumpy and more prone to buckling etc. (Just my opinion)

Anymore details on the specs of your wheels?

I've even been toying selling the K1 and buying a v6 Audi s5 but I think I'll stick with the Leon. Just need the right wheels!

Tbh i didnt know the tech specs of the wheels but they happen to be alot wider than normal and had them spacers placed between them and the hub. The handling was much better and the stance looked much more aggressive without the car being lowered.

Hopefully others more knowledgeable with wheels can give their input.

That'd be appreciated

How did you find the ride and were you on coilovers?

If I go for 19's I'll have to drop profile size, so it may become a little bumpy.

I'd go for some Bola B1's, they have a nice concave but think they're 9.5j on the rear which I've heard can cause issues on the Leon

Yeah the Bola B1's are nice, not sure on the 6 spokes apposed to the 5 on the Rota GTRs, but I'm still struggling with wheel widths and offsets so that it'll look right but not cause any rubbing issues.

I'm really surprised there isn't more information available.

I changed the bumpy 19 to 18 bbs ch with et50. Tires are conti sportcontact 5 235 40 18.

I have just gone for 19" rsq3 wheels in gloss black
They look the part
