Anyone figured a way of getting the Rear S from the Boot Opening Twisty mechanism Thingummyjig. Would be really interested to spray it Black without doing it "in-situ"

Be very carful when you take the S section out of the grill, one of the points got cought in mine and has taken the end off. Thank god for Super Glue!

One mist coat of black (yesterday) and one full coat of black on this morning, probably one more coat should do it.......will assemble and establish if it's too dark, if it is I may see if they do a dark chrome or similar colour...

Cool, but you need to take the grill off to also get to the chrome surround......

The more coats you can put on the better, as I only did a few to start off with, and then was subject to a few stone chips, so had to redue the badge again

Ooooooooooooooo.. that looks good! I'll try most stuff.. by DIY spraying is not one of them!!! I think I'll be down the local spray shop come payday! (he's not seen me since I got the LCR!!!) any more news on the rear badge??
