Looks good, note to all after the layers of paint on the black S it never quite sat back in place so I used some araldite (sp?) a few blobs on it.....got to Forge last Friday and it was missing (fallen out) no sign in the undertray either :D so now i have no badge (lost on the M5) :cartman:

A few people said at the Awesome RR day that it looked good with no badge tho

Will be having a go at spraying my Rear S Badge over the next week or so. I already have a debadged front end... cant decide if i prefer the horizonal or vertical debadged centre grille though. I have the Vertical and the Mrs has the Horizontal... hummm....

D'oh,
I actually have to have a go now as it actually cost me £££. Ah shucks, shall be a giggle none the less.... Have taken the boot apart before (and swapped the entire tailgate over) so that part shouldn't be a problem... but need to decide, Matt or Gloss finish???? Hummm, choices...

Hehe.
I thought one of you probably would have been. Expected to have to go a little higher on the price, but didnt really want to have to. Just that my car is quite stealth and the Rear S Badge is the only non-stealthy thing about it.... it must be stealthified!

I rang up one of my mates who works in a Seat Parts department to get a price for comparison... its about £50 (inc) to the public or £42 (inc) with maximum discount. Then you have to add P&P. I got it for £30 delivered so cant grumble.

Will keep you updated if i give it a blast at the weekend. No doubt will end up spray painting in the bathroom again as it will be peeing it down... ah well

did you get another one sorted in the end Steve, or have you stayed with the 'minimalist' look?

Stayed without the badge.....I think it looks OK.....these piccy's are from a low angle and the car is dirty so it looks a bit different in reality.....perhaps also helped by 3/4 size front number plate

Scotty and chris to remove the S on the rear you must remove the black plastic trim on the boot, its just connected with the pointy (lol) metal clips, remove this then you see the lock mechanism, there is about 4 x 5 mm (i think) nuts to undo and the push rod that goes from the handle to the lock, its not hard at all really, ps hold the lock as you undo the last nut so it doesnt fall out down the back of your car. i can get pics if wanted
