I think the LED rear light woul look nice tinted. I love the ring led lights but the just look horrible. Tinted they would look good.
I bought some lights from the same eBay seller (he's based in Germany). The first pair I received had moss, yeah proper green moss inside the lens cover on one light and two other lenses had broken clips. I emailed him and he said he would sent a 'new' set. The newer ones were not as dark as the first set I received and there 'are' imperfections in the paint job he does on them (I'm quite a fussy person). But one thing I will say is that he uses second hand light clusters. All eight (2 x sets of four) I received from him were dirty'ish on the unpainted side. Mine are not all tinted as you can see. I suppose you are getting something unique at the end of the day but just dont expect brand new or 'perfect' quality. Here's a pic of mine anyway, the ones I got from him were non tinted on the reverse and indicator part:

That guy uses 2nd hand lights !
I got a pair off him, and I didnt notice the imperfections until I got them on the car.......
It took me that long to get them on (******* screws) - that I didnt bother taking them off.
They had scratches on the tint film, green moss inside of the lens, and I had a green BUG inside one of them !!
They look good from a foot or so away, but close up, you can see how **** they are...
