Cheers for everyone who has posted, those wheels really do look good on MDS's car, I defo think dark wheels on a light coloured car work well.

One thing that has become evident to me, is that the finish is just as important as the colour. All the best looking dark wheels, IMO, are the ones with a lacquered finish so have a bit of shine to them. The matt ones look good, but not quite as nice as the others. All IMO, of course
