Bleeding the cooling system¿?¿?¿?¿?

hi all

Are there any points in the cooling system where i can bleed air from? My haynes manual doesn't mention a thing about it

3rd post down. My, that was easy.

Also you can remove the expansion cap (thermostat in) to bleed air out. Squeeze the top and bottom pipes. Run the engine long enough for the thermostat to open.

with expansion cap off squeeze top hose till you get good flow back into tank (with engine running long enough for stat to be open)

and make sure the heater is set on hot

that way you wont get air locks in the heater matrix

Try a coolant change on a Citroen AX where the filler tank is lower than all the coolant pipes. Brilliant design
