Yeah Will DO, Am I Right In Saying its a pipe from the turbo, that then connects to exhaust, so in the same way a dump valve/diverter valve, it dumps the air straight to the exhaust??? BUT MAKES LOADS OF NOISE??
To get the topic back on track I would like to add the Turbosmart Kompact Dual Port to the list of "hybrid" valves that works.
On the other hand, I had a HKS SSQV on for over three years with out any issues at all.

ANY kind of vent to atmos WILL affect performance slightly in the lag between gears but youll not notice if your on the std turbo but it will be a tad slower 0-100 , but if its sound you want then its your choise.

On my standard K03 low power car, I had no problems with (more) lag anywhere and the 0-100 km/h went down quite a bit over the years.
I still have the car and you can say what sits behind the wheel does matter the most.
Don't get me wrong, I mean if you're playing in the 300-500 bhp game on a standard engine management system which reads air like our cars does, an atmospheric valve is wrong, but on a K03 (and a stand-alone EMS for that matter) it's a different story.

Agreed mate , but just cos on a K03 or 4 you cant feel the differance its still there. Go put a recirc DV on and feel how much quicker it is , trust me i'v had loads of people thank me for this.

Yep spot on mate do exactly what you said, except get them to also weld the wastgate shut then go to Halfords and get a Peco big bore back box

Does anyone know if the standard bosch item will cope very well once I have my stage 1 map done or will I need to upgrade to a 007p? Reading the prev posts, i'd like to got for a recirc one as I don't want any weird electronic issues popping up. Like JasKandola1, I want a bit of noise so I hope the 007p won't be too quiet.
