Blue Smoke!!!

Hi Guys,

I've just been parked up with the engine running for about 20mins waiting to meet a friend of mine so the car was ticking over.

When i came to set off there was a great ploom of blue smoke came from my exhaust so obviously i cacked my pants, i've driven back to work and the blue smoke seems to have gone is it anything to worry about.

Anyone any ideas quite worried the turbo might be on its way out

Just been to the works car park and started the engine and no smoke at all could it just have been a build up of cack, hopefully someone will reply today!!

Blue smoke is oil

I realised it was oil but it only happened when the car was stationary and i drove it back and no blue smoke at all, i have since been down to the car park started the car warmed her up and rev'd her and no blue smoke at all thats what confused me

It came from somewhere, best you can do is keep an eye on it.

Cool will anything show up on Vag.com might check that out otherwise will have my mate check it over next month when he does my cambelt

Doubt it via vag-com tbh, oil is internal anyway.
