Blueflame racecat: problem

Having a problem with my blueflame dp/cat. Its just not the greatest fit really. Its very close to the under side of the body and hits the body everytime I go over a large bump and taps the body on small bumps. Its tightened right up at the turbo side, and has a big huge pipe clamp between it and the centre section. Anyone else have this issue? or do I need it looked at, I have a jetex cat back. (just to give you an idea) Any help welcome, Cheers, Scott.

hi, well ive got a blueflame full system including race cat and i havent ever noticed it tappin on the body, i mean it comes off the turbo and there isnt really much movement in it. unless where ur centre/rear section conects is pushing it up or something? Are u sure its tapping on the body and its not something else?

Its never a perfect fit. I have the full system and my garage had to make a few adjustments. Very slight knocking when starting from cold, though this goes after a minute. Just knocks on the heatshield me thinks

mine knocks but ive notice i need new engine mounts so maybe you in the same boat as me

Are you sure its knocking where you think the noise is ???? A common place where exhausts knock on the Ibiza's is the rear beam

Intresting..... I was thinking that myself, onwards to find uprated mounts...
