is it possible to make a mess of the instalation?
You pretty much restricted where / how it can be installed.
Although ive read that you should try to have the maf sensor at the same angle as stock... so as long as it looks as per richybigman's pics you will be ok.
mine completely standard. how did you get the air intake piping to fit round did you have to cut it? is there any benefits to having the forge hoses to connect

I didn't have to cut it and when i fitted the BMC originally the engine bay was completely standard. Took me about 10 minutes to fit it the first time.
might take the full thing out at the weekend and start again can see now why i cant get the turn on the hosing thanks, gotta holiday to pay for then gonna start colour coding my hosing to red ones i think
Mine looks bigger than the one in the pics above... it was bit of a pig to fit and had wondered how or why a lot of other people said it was a simple 5 minute job. It wasn't until I searched on the forums, I found that there are 2 sizes / part numbers that people have fitted to their LCR's... one is the "correct" size, the other is too big and doesn't fit. I didn't need to cut or modify anything. I found it easier to remove the battery to fit the cold air feed pipe, and I fitted the cold air feed pipe first, then I fitted the MAF to the other end, and then fitted the MAF into the silicone hose.
