Bocanegra options?

couple other bits topped out nearly 20k!! Which is leon cupra money but least be bit cheaper to run i spous:think:

Call me old fashioned but £20k for a 1.4TSi is robbery. People said I was mad paying over £30k for an Audi but it feels a bargain against a Boc at that price. It would have to be immense for £20k, and surely that puts it in Leon Cupra territory, and with the EA888 lump the Leon is a much better starting point for a committed modder. Very nice little motor, but not that nice.

Hi warren cox, Yea i do agree with you it has come out a lot more expensive than we all thought and like you say the time i had all the extras put on the car i could of had a leon cupra!!! But thing is i have at the mo a leon fr tdi which has been superb but i just fancy a change now ,Had a look at quite a few cars but a lot loaded up with extras all seem to be around 20k:blink: Spous at end of ther day its all down to your own choice

Just make sure when you test drive it that you truly judge its outright ability as a drivers car, rather than getting won over by it's 'newness'. My '07 S3 with 25k on the clock is worth around £20k, and whilst the Bocanegra is a bigger statement car in terms of it's looks, I couldn't be tempted out of the S3 for a 1.4 despite its obvious abilities. As you say, horses for courses, but to me it's a car I'd pay £16k for maximum.

Yes do agree but the other factor for me was the hopefully low running costs of the small engine and the dsg for m25 traffic:whistle: Still i will give full write up when it arrives:D

I don't doubt it will be a great little car, and very much look forward to hearing a real world opinion rather than what the motoring hacks have to say (I get to the point where their views are so conflicting that I don't know what to believe!).

It's a beautiful little car, and much nicer than most of it's competitors.

stu38, I haven't a clue what the service interval would be on the Boc. Never gave it a thought. This car has created so much hype but never really confirmed much in the way of details. Websites and sources are contradicting eachother. Even my dealership has nothing more, makes me wonder how they are in business. All I know, is that I loved the car from the start, went and ordered with the options the dealer gave me at the time. Now I want delivery so I can get me personalised plate on, enjoy it (I got a dying 306 atm) and then personalise it.

Roll on October

Disclaimer : I am very frustrated. I want my new car. 2 months and 3 weeks to wait. Pure torture.

Yea I'm sure that would look superb scully and possibly the side skirt pack but it just one of those things I think, do you just leave the boc as standard.... Can't make the o'l mind up:rolleyes:

It's all about the contrast between the paint colour and the black with the Bocanegra chaps. The car has a black grill, dark tinted windows, the sun roof option has a black roof, I have already been looking for black alloys with a red rim for my car. These would look great especially with the red brake calipers. Black side skirts would be a bit much I think and the same with the spoiler. I think it's about getting the correct contrast. Everybody's different though.

Best thing to do is wait until you have the car sat in front of you and then decide. That's how I'm going to enjoy mine.
