Hi All
is anyone we know doing/selling these now for a MK 3
[Last time I fitted these or needed them was a Vauxhall Astra GSi turbo 200 from 2002]

Searches reveal some very interesting stuff.
Including a Polish guy with easy 15 minute bolt ons. Brilliant with a Youtube vid.
But not found on E Bay anymore.

Cheers Andy

ORDERED.

They have done both
£80 uk site
£50 US/russian sites

Thanks Guys another brilliant recommend.

Cheers Andy

Thanks Kiddo.
[Looks like the same guy/site/video/product just all in English and higher price.]

Guy's anyone tried fitting them on the Mk3 with the tube on the inner wing and piston uppermost and avoid cutting the insulation?

[Instead of as vid with piston on wing tube to Bonnet as on my Astra, [may be a clearance issue]
and some pictures of on the Mk 2 I saw.
Cheers Andy

it comes with instructions (i have scanned then on a thread way back) and i followed it with exception of cutting and had no problems at all

Thanks 'oldboy.
Interesting
Come on
don't leave me wanting more!! lol

What do you mean by 'with exception of cutting'

Cheers Andy

The instructions say you have to cut a bit out of the insulation at the top of the bonnet, I did not and never had any issues.

Here is a bit of the instructions and bottom right is the big I did not do

Yes its very simple you remove some bolts and add a few bits (in the kit) and tighten it up again.

No you dont have to remove the old prop unless you want to.

What a ballache it was to put back after I removed it...NEVER again!

Though it's near impossible now the washer bottle is on the same side as that for me now.

I keep thinking I’ll get some, then realise I’m not in my engine bay for any length of time to check my oil there is no point.

Looks cooler when you show your car off at the car meet and if you ever do a track day its much easier to cool the engine down.
Plus for me I had to buy some stuff from a Russian site that had no english and got it delivered so was well pleased.

Are you talking about the kit or the old prop.
