Bonnet lifters Help needed please

hhmmm i think you would need more than 3 washers? and the bolt isnt very long.. Its abit of a distance to go before it gets straight, i honestly dont understand why its so diagonal, its nearly straight on everyone esle..

Just want to check though.. should I have these little metal clips left over or should i have put them somewhere ??? :shrug:

If you look where the lifter clips onto the ball, there will be 2 little holes those clips go rite through them and then clips in to stop the lifter coming off the ball...

Can someone help me!!! are they ment to stay at the same length all the time?

I've tried pulling on them and pushing them inwards and its just not moving!

There's no F in Quality..
You won't move them by hand mate !!!! ;)

I just managed to shift my about 1cm by placing it on the floor and leaning on it with all my body weight !!!

They're at their max length when they're off the car, and are compressed when you shut the bonnet.

Oh i see!! I'll try that then don't want to bend the bonnet!!

Also i know i have to take the bolt out of the wing to fit the new bolts!

On the bonnet there is a top and bottom bolt which 1 do i remove top or bottom! Does it make a difference
