kezz, i got mine fitted the other way around (the ram bit on the wing and the piston bit attached to the bonnet) and i didnt have to do any grinding! have you tried them the other way?
craig, do you have the rubber bungs on your slam panel? you twist then in or out to determin where the bonnet sits? also when your looking at it, make sure the ground is level as it wil make it look not level either.....if any of that makes sense? lol
I have bought myself a set of the bonnet lifters from ebay, I got the last set.
1st question, Could you fit them the other way round with no problems?? Only because I would prefer the ram bit on the wing?
2nd question, Which bolt on the bonnet do you take switch, the top or bottom one??
And to close my bonnet you have to slam it fairly hard, should I align it up correctly etc before I fit them? If so, whats the best way to do it??
Just to add my bonnet aint level, on the drivers side the edge of the bonnet is virtually touching the top of the headlight, whereas on the passenger side there is a gap between the light and the edge of the bonnet.
