hey all..

i installed a boost gauge this week (thanks bandit77) and following pabs's guide it was all installed nicely. i did however have a break in my oil breather pipe. so when i started the engine and the gauge read 20 on the VAC side.. i didnt think much of it.

but i replaced the breather pipe and it still readys 20 on the vac side. i checked the pipe and theres no breaks or kinks or nothing and everything seems to be securely fixed on.. does anyone have any ideas what could be the problem?

thanks!

Yup, nothing untill you floor it!
Sounds like its working perfect, idle -20inHg, rev it should go to 0, drive it hard in 3rd up a hill and the LCR holds bout 12psi, don't know bout the LC!

ok - it'll sit at around the 20VAC on idle, and as you accelerate gets closer to 0. anything above 0 and you're on boost - standard LC will see up to 8/9psi, remapped you'll see 20psi.

So yes - doesn't sound like you have a problem?
