I thought these Ultralites were supposed to be good quality

Phil, any of your mates over in wales got a gauge you can test? Would only take 10 mins to do and could rule out your gauge being at fault or not.

I've had the same problem! when i first installed my boost gauge i 't'd from inlet manifold and it operated fine, then uprated all vac hoses with silicon ones and now its started flickering, i think its because the silicon hoses gets warm and supple then pulses under boost conditions because on vacum it doesn't.

Thats well nice i like that!!

Im guessing theres not much chance it would be the same size as one i have now in the door pillar though.. If its a bit bigger it wouldnt be a problem though!

So presuming i have the standard boost gauge plumbed in and wanted to swap for that how much extra work would it be ? I presume id need to now get power to it as well ?

Sorry lol im not familiar with guages :p

Its deffo the gauge as i've said. Its the second gauge i've had plumbed in the same place using the same connection.

It was fine when i had it.

yer mate its the same size as normal!! erm yer u need to wire it in! il find out exactly what as it came with like a little control unit with it aswell!!

I use a Autometer Phantom boost gauge which is T'd into the top of the DV, I get no flicker at all and my boost gauge sits on 0 when the engine is off. I used the t piece and the hard vacuum tubing that came with the gauge.
