Hello everyone :D

I've installed a boost gauge recently and it operates fine, well I think it does, the problem is when the car's switched off, the needle goes to '0' but when you turn the car on (running) it goes down in to minus figures and operates from there, is this normal? or have I not set it up / installed it correctly? it's a mechanical boost gauge.

Should sit around 22 on tick over it's a good indicator if you have and splits in any hoses, because if you do it will be nearer to the 0

It operates as a vacuum gauge also hence why on idle it goes into the minus as it under vacuum and the engine is sucking in air until you give it throttle when charged air takes over and the whole thing is under pressure.
