What ampage of cable did you use to extend the wires? Maybe its just the way the pics look m8. Im quite a fuzzy git when it comes to my cars tho lol.

Thats mine mounted in the centre vent, dead easy to do if you're good with a dremel!

Heating issues not be a problem?

The actual vent is still functional, and i doubt 20 or so degrees will be a problem for the gauge seeing as its about 70-80 at the other end of the boost pipe.

Is it secured by anything or just a tight fit in the vent?

gauge is secured by two wee tabs cut with the dremel to hold it at the back.
