I seem to have a minor boost leak, can hear a squeeking noise around peak boost, sounds a lot like a boost leak anyways.

Checked all the fittings, all seem OK except the one directly from the turbo - It seemed very loose, removed it, cleaned it up and refitted but still the same. Is it usually a loose fit? Can rattle it around a fair few mm when fitted.

Didn't actually notice, must be worn if the whole union is rocking from side to side! The rest all seem tight and firm.

I have just replaced mine on my pd 160 Cupra with the uprated forge pipe it has a spring clip that holds the pipe into the turbo and two lugs on the pipe my clips where worn along with the lugs on the pipe do I'd say yours is the same

Course. TIP = Turbo intake pipe.

Metal pipe off the turbo, leads to a plastic section, then MAF, then air filter

Have u change any of this tip because I was thinking of getting a 80mm silicon pipe made up to go from the tip to maf then naff to filter do u think there's any point in doing that or not

I replaced the platic section with a yellow silicone hose. No real point indoing it, but it looks better
