I noticed today while shopping that my boot wasnt locking, so i came home and did a search and found this thread

http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=135787&highlight=boot+lock

ive done what it says but the solenoid only works for a few opens and closes then it jams again and i have to force it lock again. Does anyone know how to sort this?

Cheers
Sandro

i think it might already have been changed, cos it has been lockwired into place, which i found a bit wierd.

Just give it a good liberal spray of WD40, the first time mine did it I went out and gave it a tap and put on some WD40 then the solenoid stuck open again a few weeks later. I went out again and did that How-to and it's never done it since.
