Bought a Ibiza 04 (53), Any ideas on what i could do?

Hi guys i am new to these forums and all but...
I just bought myself this ibiza mk4 in Aqua Blue and just wondering what i could do to make it look alright , i as you can see from the picture i do need a new grill on the bumper (quotes please), any ideas guys?

Welcome to the forums mate.
Dave@SERE is your man for SEAT parts like the grille.
Since you're buying a new grille, you could just buy the FR (Honeycombe) parts?
Or you could look into getting a facelift/cupra/aero bumper? The newer bumpers really make a difference to the ibiza IMO.
You could also look at getting some aftermarket alloys? Debadged grills? LED's? Tinted lights? Coilovers? Black wind mirrors? HID's?
There's soo much you can do, depends on your modding-style and budget I guess?

Alloy refurb - £20-30 if DIY
Black mirror caps - £10
Lowering springs / coilovers - £150 (although may affect insurance)


£200 and you've got a sweet looking motor!

Thanks + yeah im a bit worried about the insurance because im a young driver and my insurance is already stupid so i may just paint it for now but thanks anyway

I don't blame you.. My insurance was £1900 before I passed my test and £2200 after.. Just the pain of being a new driver I guess, but you have to get it out of the way.

Expect your insurance to half for the next 2-3 years. Mine was £2400 (inc. mods) 1st year, £1400 second year, £700 3rd year. I think at the moment lowering my car by <50mm would cost only £15 on insurance so it's not too bad. I'm with Admiral btw.

Im not saying u need to drive a clapped out motor, ive done a fair bit of modding in my day as well.
I wouldnt consider it now, then i guess the op may be young.
But from experience its a waste of time and money.
A few tweaks like wheels and a bumper maybe in the OPs case.
But I just go with the factroy alloys and kits now and just keep the car neat and tidy.
God i sound like an old git here lol

I've just picked up new front bumper grills off ebay for a total sum of £54 and that was including a de-badged grille
