All,

I have a 2004 LCR 225. It has Brembo fronts. Anyone got any recommendations for discs and pads for the front and rear? Also does anyone know the dimensions of th discs for front and rear?

Cheers

Hi,

Front si 323 mm disc and back is 256. I recommend EBC turbo grove discs and ferodo DS perfomence pads, very efficent. Or instead of ferodo you can use yellow stuff pads from EBC.

crn at chestfield vented and grooved ebc discs yellow pads at front same style discs at back and red stuff pads bein fitted 3 months and there bang on

The ferodo ds2500 are a very good pad and highly rated on here.
The discs you can spend more and go for ebc turbo grooved or can get the ebc plain discs which are still very good. There are lots of discussions on discs, if there are holes drilled in them they can have week points and crack, the grooved discs can produce whirring noises from the grooves and there is also less surface area between disc and pad even if it is only small difference.

Good deals can be found on ebay and also Bill on here does good prices.

EBC Turbo-Groove look pretty cool too.

I love those alloys...

Personally, I was due to change mine and there are tons of choices, but I needed to be quick as I was getting a full service done, so in the end, went for SereMotors and got stock discs and some black diamond pads. No amazing, but enough for me, and will buy me some time to do some more research into what I want...
