You dont need to go under the car and you do need to take the wheels off and put it on axle stands.

its a good opertunity to give it a good clean under there like i did!!! especially the calipers!

...and you just bleed it in the same manor as the calipers, using the master cylinder? Sorry for all the stupid questions, but I've never done it before :shrug:

It's just another hydraulic circuit, like the brakes; master cylinder behind the clutch pedal, slave cylinder acting on the clutch. Some gearboxes have the slave cylinder inside, which makes seal or cylinder replacement a long job, but they all have a bleed nipple on the outside.

Yeah its on the same circuit. Bleed it the same way as the calipers its a 9mm socket and spanner you will need

The master cyltinder is 7mm and the calipers are 11mm have a socket and spanner to hand
