Yes it's fairly hard, the tunnel isn't straight and oviously the cutting disc is so very hard to get a clean cut. Instead I ended up grinding it back, but it takes forever.How're you finding the grinding mate? Is it difficult? I'm attempting it on bolt heads tonight! Ha!
Yeah you went a little mad. Now I'm going to have to weld a new skin in there!
You need to remove the front bar too.

How easy was it to remove the cross part where the seat fixes to at the front? (the part your grinding away across the floor plan?
Im thinking of removing mine so i can fit lower and better seat frames, which im guessing is why your doing it. But ill use the existing slider rails to slide in a bar with a plate on the end, pretty much like what the back portion of my sparco subframes are like now.
