If subtle is out the window and money is no object, could you add a dynamo and run little LEDs on that? Stick them on and Bob's your uncle! You could set them up as an arrow or something :)
Or chrome them up, "bling bling innit"!

I have to admit I like red but it is really common. And I agree black is probably too subtle. The white is pretty unusual.

LED's!!!?

Perhaps if it was a show car or something.

Looks like he's banned. Perhaps they were shite.
I did wonder whether that was an actual banning, or just a message that this person had set.

If anyone knows where we can get the decals in the same size that the originals are in, and decent quality (seen some really badly cut decals in the past) then I'd be very appreciative!

From the looks of it the Brembo is a stencil and not a decal. Clicky.

So if your careful you could remove all the lacquer, cover the logo and repaint.

Nah, I'd have it redone. Repainted or decal'd doesn't matter, but it needs to be replaced because we'll be shot-blasting the callipers back to bare metal

The question is: If you were having your LCR Brembos shot blasted back to the metal, fully refurbished and repainted, would you put them back red, or do something else? I'm wondering whether they'd come up polished to be honest. I reckon a few layers of lacquer should keep them looking nice, maybe with black Brembo decals instead of the white?

Should be having mine done in December, so opinions may well influence the final outcome of mine :D

Just seen this thread now, this is something i have been toying with, TBO white will be murder for you to keep clean, Red, Black or yellow IMO would look smart.
As an after thought your, "R" badges will look out of place if you change the color of the Brembo's.

i have been toying with the idea of blue with my Platunim LCR to match my bay, maybe blue is another option for you.

Also this is a piss easy job to do your self if you are just painting them and re-applying the Brembo decals.

Cheers Robbie. As I mentioned earlier though, I don't want to go blue because of my Racing Puma owning friend who will just say that I'm trying to make the LCR like his FRP  I do think Blue would look quite good though.

I'm definitely leaning toward red or polished though, or at the very least lacquered bare metal. I think we'll see what they look like when they're shot blasted clean. Don't want to just paint over what's there now; want to make sure that the metal is all good underneath first.

Thanks for the input though, and the pic; looks good

Dont bead blast calipers as the grit can everywhere and damage seals etc. Best off using nitromors carefully, use some black duct tape over the pistons aswell.

The guy who is doing them has a lot of experience refurbing callipers, though I gather he specialises in Alcon. I'm sure he knows what he's doing :D

Yeah, the callipers are coming off and being fully refurbed some time near Christmas. He was saying that if I want the paintwork fixing up that this would be the perfect time to do it, so I'm just sorting out a date and money for it

Right now I can't say for sure Shaun. I'm waiting to hear back from him about some of the finer details, but you'd hope that if he's refurbing the callipers, blasting them back to the metal and repainting them that he would be doing the seals too, wouldn't you?

I think the brembos split in half by undoing the allen bolts, but not sure without asking someone. I did my old bike calipers which was 2 pots and they split in half with an o ring. If he uses the right abarsive and maks up using duct tape etc should be a good job.

Yeah, cheers. I know he's not a pro, but like a lot of people on here, he's got his speciality and brakes are them. People with FRPs bring there cars from miles away to get him to do the Alcons, so I'm sure that he knows what he's doing. And he's cheap :D My mate calls him Doctor Alcon

I think the silver from the pic you posted would look good, black is too subtle, and imho red is too loud.
