Hi,would anyone be able to guide me.
I have found a Leon 04 plate Cupra R 1.8 with Brembo calipers on it.
Would these fit onto my Cupra Tdi???I realise i will need the Caliper,Carrier and disk.

But need to know are they same stud fittment???

Will the carrier fit onto the stub axle??????

Will the brake lines bolt straight onto the brembo's???

Will the tdi master cylinder wotk with the brembo's????

Any info or links would be fantastic.

Many thanks in advance:)

what about subaru impreza brakes? I know that the stud fitment on them is 5 x 100 but wonder if with a caliper mounting bracket (like the ones that can be bought for the porsche ones) i would be able to fit the disca and calipers. Any ideas??

You will need to be carefull about what wheels you have fitted for clearance with the brembo calipers off a LCR.Not sure if 17" wheels will clear the caliper, might not be an issue if you have bigger alloys or spacers, but worth a thought.:)

So they will go on with no mods at all,am i right???Does that include the brake lines and does the tdi master cylinder cope with the bigger brakes. Thanks again:)

just outta interest are these the 1s on ebay at present your talking about

Im going for porsche calipers on my cupra but wondering if anyone knows of the cheapest place to get the caliper carriers and new lines. Awsome have them for £230 odd, but they are only a piece of aluminium and would get a mate i know to knock a set up if had one to measure. Not sure if the lines are available seperate though?
I would be happy to pay up to £150 for the carriers and lines but think that £230 (i know neuspeed are never cheap) is way to steep!!

Unless you are talking about the Sti Brembo's then I wouldn't bother as the standard brakes on the 2 Impreza's i've owned were rubbish!

I know this but brembo's off a cupraR need 18's to clear the caliper (i think????),

Well the 17" wheels I listed above will fit onto a Uk spec 210/225 LCR with Brembo Brakes

(infact these wheels are a cheap excellent choice of track day wheel for LCR owners)

So it's not true that you need 18's

Some 18's won;t fit either unless you have the correct PCD and offset

Didn't know that - may have a look for some in the new year for track days :)

Will the standard Cupra R Brembo setup fit on an FR+ TDi. Just to be clear my wheels are are the 17" version of the Cupra R's 18" wheels (standard on the FR+ TDi) so would my wheels clear the Calipers? I would consider this brake up-grade as its within reach financially but don't want to have to fork out for a new set of wheels as well. Besides I like the look of the standard wheels and think the 18" version would just make the ride too crashy.

I asked this question once and never got a definitive answer. I would guess they might due to the similar spoke design and worst case you might need a small spacer.
