Owning an Exeo is rare, but an Exeo with the Pioneer Nav is rarer, and then asking a question about a phone cradle for the car is rarer still!!

Ok, here goes, the image below is from the Brodit website and shows the mount for the cradle in a Seat 'Exeo' - yes an Audi A4 :)

Because I don't have factory nav, there is a blanking plate around the edges of the Pioneer, do you think the mount will still fit? It basically pushes in along the side of the blanking plate and then snaps into place

Any help is much appreciated!

Looking at it I don't see why it should be a problem but then I don't know how deep the blanking plate is around the pioneer unit...

I'm sure you could make it fit with a bit of fettling no matter what though?

need to bite the bullet and do it, but I'm paranoid about breaking the trim as the blanking plate is quite 'thin' and doesn't feel very substantial

Used brodit mounts over the years in various cars, they are great - easy to fit and no holes in dashboard

I managed to get my Brodit to fit ok with the Pioneer.
Its awkward and very very tight.... but seems stable enough.

Cool..... Does your phone obstruct with the display of the head unit or interfere with the controls?

Depends on phone mount you add.
Top of my iPhone can just catch cup holder.

Otherwise fine and cable nearly runs into glovebox for usb charging and audio input.
