Eaves still not quite got the measure of the Leon yet, didn't feature highly in session 1 and had a spin off in the second session too which cost him.

Good strong showing from Jones in both free practice sessions.

Liam had a bit of a scare having an off at the high speed church corner, but has done ok considering.

Jelley and Giovarnadi collided in the second session too and it's touch and go for the engineers getting the cars repaired for qualifying. Even if they do, they have both lost valuable track time and won't have straight cars.

Seems VXR blame Jelley for the incident.

Doesn't appear to have affected Giovanardi - 3 tenths faster than anyone else in one flying lap!!

I see the Focii haven't sorted their electrical gremlins yet. That must be soul destroying.

Barmy Army sleeper cell
The Barmy Army will be high up on the banks at the complex. Look for the tallest flag poles! :flag:

We are the proud owners of the first official YourRacingCar.com flag which is fluttering over the campsite at present. Hannah and Fulvio send their best wishes and thanks for the support. The starting issues seem sorted and Fulvio put in a good performance in the first race though he says the technique for getting the G50 round Thruxton is very different from in his SEAT so still much to learn.

Likewise Colin at CZR Cartridge World. They do appreciate seeing the support and the Seat flags still flying high. The team is making progress, though Colin acknowledges that Dan is still slightly rusty and thus shy of Adam's pace at the moment.

Should be an exciting day tomorrow. Any one else convoying in for Car Parks A & B join us at Barton Stacey Services before 8.30am.
Racing starts 10.45 but all the best viewing spots are gone long before then.

Could someone get some half decent photos, because then at least we will have something pretty to put with their press releases. [B)]

Anything slightly resembling a racing car on a race track beats re-using the same photo of them stood gurning in front of the racing car.
