I didn't see much of a difference with any halogen bulbs, be it £5 cheapo's or £30 top of the range ones - if any difference it is very minimal.

An HID kit however, that is actually worth paying extra for. Takes about 30 minutes to do a good install job, and you'll actually see a difference.

sidelight bulbs

hi, can anyone help me with some info, tried to upgrade side and headlight bulbs on my misses 55 plate ibiza fr tdi. took o/s plastic cover off sidelight but just cannot get hand in to take out bulb space is very tight, is it possible to get them out from the back or is it a take out headlight job:confused:

I recommend the Phillips BlueVision bulbs too. But if ur lucky and have H7 fitment in your car, then try and go for HIDs. Because my motor has H4 bulbs (ancient and crap) it means HID upgrades are so much more expensive!

If you have the H4 setup and Go for an HID kit do you get HID dipped and High beam with the kit as it's all in one bulb ?

thats true, you get some sort of relay in the HID kit that flips the bulb higher/lower dependin on what beam you want. trouble is that the kit for H4 costs quite a bit more than the regular H7 fitment :( . why did i have to go for the pish spec!!

there was a thread on here about a hid kit some one got for crimbo, that site it was £10 more for the h4 fitment, which made it £90 for the kit!

Dunno what they are, but they certainly have a good blue tinge off them. Factory fit standards.
