Yeah i sold the carpc with the car. couldnt be bothered with the hassle of taking it out

lol i did indeed go car shopping, just been to a vauxhall dealer but i think i'll go private to be honest, much much cheaper.

next car i really cant decide upon, sticking with an oil burner (addicted to torque ) all 1.9-2.0 ish litre, all 05 onwards, looking around the 7.5k mark

short list:

astra 1.9 150 sri
a3 2.0 140
alfa 147 1.9 150
grande punto 1.9 130

the problem is for the same as an a3 2004-05 with atleast 60k on clock i can get an astra with less than 30k and 2005-06!

even better with the punto - 2006-07 less than 20k

i'm suprised you've not included an FR in that shortlist, fits in the criteria of 05 onwards and around 7.5k for a decent example i think. Plus your knowledge of Ibiza already... well good luck buddy!

Hmm i would say out of them an A3 then the astra. I would only really say the A3 is a step forward in car terms? Was it a sport PD130 you sold?
