Can i take the covers off the teardrop mirrors?

Is there a cover on the teardrop mirror on my LCR,

If so how do i go about taking them off, do they unclip?

Yeah close the mirrors then prise them off from the now exposed edge use something plastic, credit card did mine.

yea did mine with a flat blade screwdriver wrapped in a rag but be carefull and work your way round

Go carefully! The clips inside break very easily
