Yeh i need another two tyres really, payday Thursday so ill try get some ordered and maybe on for new year or just after!

You will love it lowered, you got the 20mm rear spacers and rarb havnt you?

yea really helps the handling out!

with the front wishbone bushes...what ones were they cupra ones? where u get them from?
 
how much? was fitment expensive? i cant really get awesome to do it as they are in manc and im down south...but when i get the car lowered i could get them down at the same time...

does it stiffen the car up then? I know my brother had uprated bushes done on his LCR
 
It's not cheap mate, the labour is more expensive than the parts, Awesome did it at 3 hours labour + Geometry check..it's not an easy job to do so I just bit the bullet and paid...I know Awesome will do it bob on so I don't mind. The weather has been so bad here I haven't had chance to test it, it feels better just from gentle wheel work tho.
 
Knighty, i bought them from sere motors for 15 quid delivered and got them fitted at a local v.a.g specialists, came to 75 quid altogether including bushes, so not too bad and should make my tyres last longer! The time honestly feels miles better with them on really happy with it at the mo, just new rear tyres and some warm weather and i can see how well it performs now compared to before :)

Seen your thread chino, the standard bushes are appalling! Mine were on their way out and im only on 22k miles now! Just the flip key mod when that arrives and im tinting some standard lights fully red to stick on, just interested to see what they will be like. Then ill just be keeping an eye out for some new wheels, or get a new headunit and simple soundsystem, i wont know until i buy something haha

On an off comment, yokohama paradas are awesome snow tyres! Just dropped my gf off home and went a right snowy way, and it pulled up hills and alsorts, was shocked!
