i ordered my ibiza fr tdi from them on the 8th of june i pick it up tomorrow... less than 2 weeks, happy with that, went there tonite to sign the finance bits and pieces, my car is sat in the compound awaiting a good valeting in the morning.
if i thought that was good, what came next is better, they hadnt received my insurance to tax it even though i payed elephant £7.50 to make sure it arrived before 1 today, i received it at my house this morning (got it when i got home) the guy there rang me and said i wasnt far from his journey home so i met up with him down the road and gave him my copy so they can get it taxed in the morning....... quality service so far.. i wasnt expecting that....

ill get some picks up after i pick it up.........

well so far so good. ill let you all know if they turn rubbish.. the guys ive delt with so far have been pretty good..

Make sure you check it over thoroughly before you sign and drive away. Also that you have radio code, etc

Also, worth checking to make sure the chocks are out of the springs (put there for transport mode), and the tyre pressures are what they should be when you get home (and NOT 47psi as I discovered with mine [:@]).

Welcome to another FR TDi owner! :D

47 psi they need a slap!!! cheers for the advice ill check it out..

will it come with car mats or will they try and charge me a fortune for them?????

I managed to get car mats, but they were dealer universal specials. The front ones don't fit too badly, but the backs are a joke. Will get round to get some better fitting ones sometime.

Try for front flaps if you want them (rears don't fit). Offer to fit them yourself (easy, though easier with two people, one to hold the wheelarch liner in place). Even worth trying for some touch-up paint! I got neither though.

well ill have to c wat i can get out of them then.
i will probably need a remap at some point coming from an s3. cant wait though much cheaper to run. and still not a slow car.

I have just bought the same car and really happy with it, you will love it! good to hear Lincoln Seat are coming along now as when I went to them 2 months ago, they were terrible and ended up going to Grimsby for great discount and service.

looks great mate, ah the joys of picking up a brand spanking new car. I change my car every 2 years so I can get that new car feeling although they normally aren't brand new. I envy you.

i must have got the right person at the right time, will see how good they are when somethin goes wrong....... watch this space..

never had a new car myself so thought it was about time, well ive got it its now home parked on the drive but its dirty already!!!!!!!!!!
