For some reason the Turbosmart DualPort Kompact can't be heard now since the FMIC and ko3s have been fitted? Any ideas why? The engine does however make a nice whistle sound and gets higher pitch when I put the throttle down which I can only assume is air sucking through the pipes.

DV does make a light tsch under full throttle whereas before it was very loud

I dunno anything about this DV but might you have to change a spring or tighten something due to higher boost pressures??

Yup it's adjustable, I've tried 'softing' i.e. opening it up a third of it's full and made abit of sound difference but not much. Before I only had to adjust it a tad and it was loud. Maybe the pressure loss you spoke about has something to do with it - extra piping means less pressure through the valve diaphragm? I don't know.

I checked all the clamps were extra tight when fitting the intercooler etc.

I'm gonna try tightening all the clips again and maybe shorten the pipes that go into the DV from the turbo outlet, I will get a pic up later to better show what I mean. Maybe the pipes too long, I'm sure I once read it should be as short as possible.
