cant open my boot

i can hear the lock unlocking when i press the button on the keys, and when i put the key in and turn it i can hear it unlock too, but when i pull the S badge up to open it, it does nothing. so i cant get into my boot

any ideas?

First thing to try......

Hold the S handle horizontally 'open' with one hand.
Smack the other hand down hard on the handle.

See if the handle will now open the boot.........

It's also easier to remove the trim by taking the light clusters out first

im having exactly the same problem, except i cant even hear it trying to unluck

ive got the same problem i think there is a little catch on mine thats came off with slammin the bootlid down

I had this problem after our lass held the handle up as i was trying to unlock car which caused a plastic catch to stick in the locked position underneath the trim on the inside of the boot lid. I just popped it back accross and greased it up and never had the problem happen again yet.
