After installing my new car stereo, i cant start my car.

The car has been without battery for 3 hours and after getting power on it, it beeps when i turn the keys to on possession. Then when I turn it to start possession the starter starts but it wont ignite.

Do i need to restart the computer system?

Best Regards

sounds like the imobiliser has kicked in.

try locking and then unlocking the car with the remote buttons - then try starting it.

There fine.

Does disconnecting then connecting the 32 pin from the cluster have something to do?

I took the pin #5 and connected it to the speed input on my new Pioneer Avic-F910BT.

You didn't say that on your first post. I would put money on this being the problem. Reseat the plug and maybe put the no5 wire back where it came from.

The wire is connected with this:

That came with the Avic F910BT

Damn I didn't read this thread, having exactly the same problem but I didn't fit the headunit so don't know if any wires have been played about with!

IMO put it back to how it was, then see if the fault reoccurs

If it doesn't, take it to someone with some talent for auto electrics & get them to fit your headunit.
