Car was in today at Hobins of Preston. They've re-fitted the fuel cap so that it now sits flush with the body and are going to be replacing the pipe that has melted coming from the fuel filter. For the rear brakes, they have said that they don't just replace them under warranty, so are speaking to Seat about 'Goodwill' and see if they can cover some of the costs. They also said that the headlights steaming up is normal and are going to show me a letter apparently from Seat saying this. No mention of the breather unit which I am disappointed about.

if u keep on about the headlight they will replace it , tho ive had a new one in for about 4 months and its as bad as the old one , least it was free,

I went into my local dealers, told them about my headlights, they came outside, took some pictures and sent them off to Seat UK, about a week later, got a phone call to say that the kit had been approved and had arrived and when would i be in for them to fit it. It did make a slight difference, but still had a small amount of steam in, so i drilled a few holes in the back of the covers and now they are a clear as owt.

are your brakes faulty? if not they will not pay for your brakes, as to the headlights misting up, i have seen the bulletin, and they are aware of the fix, because they fixed my car, ask for Manny he is the aftersales manager he is ok, no bull ****, if he can get SEAT to pay for it he will.

Have a look at the link above. I've been told that they need replacing, and not because they are worn down.
