Hi all,
For some reason today, i was driving to work and i noticed my car boot light light up, so i stopped the car, opened and closed the boot. - Solved (So i thought).
Few more minutes down the road it came on again... and still remains on.

Now, is this a problem with the sensor...?

Also, my rear window sprayer doesnt work. Iv done a lookup on the forums and apparently its quite common? The tubing has come off the sprayer? (Sorry for layman terms lol).
This is causing the water to go somewhere instead of my window!

My thought is, has the water managed to interfere with the boot sensor?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers,

Anthony

mine done this to once it dryed out i never get any bother so i would let it dry out before spending any money on it ;)

i had this problem last month, but i suspect it was due to water getting in the lock (it was really cold, and the frost was probably melting)

the warning light was either flickering really faintly, or on. it went away after a while and i haven't had the problem since
the fact your spray doesn't work either would lead me to suspect that the water is in the contact for the boot light

I must have a random boot lock on my Toledo, everyone says "let it dry and it will work". When mine is wet it works as it should, when it's dry it doesn't work at all. lol
