let me just make sure, the maf is the circular link between the induction hose and the airbox/filter?

It just unplugs

also TCS... when the hazard symbol and arrows round it showing are on the dash, does that mean tcs is on?
or off?

Im unsure which setting is off and on :redface:

ah right Ive had my dash symbol off thinking it was on haha

Its only ever come on when I was going off a round about and put my foot down in boost.. it just flashed once

NO when the light is on all the time it TC is off then its flashing on and off thats when it is kicking in and holding the car back

It could be but your saying its sluggish and wont exceed 120ish?
when my maf was fooked it couldnt gain much than 100.
have you tried driving it around yet with the tcs light on? if not try it and see if it feels better.

but if I disconnect the maf wont it be restricted.. finishing work now soon so il go give it a try with light on...

then maf off

its most prob the maf i should know as i have had 5 mafs so far in nearly 3 years

thats 4 on my 1st cupra n one so far on this one wich i have had for 4 months, jabba must smile when they see me roll up lol

or......a fauly n75 would cause that...or..........weak coil packs

i had 4 coil pack on my onvi cupa because two went at the same time so i just replaced the lot.......it felt like it bit much betta

Just to clarify...

TCS Light Off = Traction Control Switched ON But Not Active (ie dry road lots of traction)
TCS Light On = Traction Control Switched OFF
TCS Light Flasing = Traction Control Switched ON And Active (ie booting it in the wet)

coil pack sounds dear

don't have a clue what n75 is...

turning traction control off make it alot better.. Il see how it goes after a few days I reckon

Coilpacks arnt expensive (about £25 each), and your N75 is a valve.
