Car manual folder in glove compartment

[Ibiza 09]

Does anyone no if the manual fits inside the glove compartment along with the usual stuff i.e sat nav and sunglasses or does it fit a certain way or do i have to just keep it in the car boot

i couldnt get mine to fit but i dont know if im just being dim or not as there seems to be a plastic bit in the glove box which i would assume is for the manual. but it fits all of my crap which i need it to. and i have the manual in the passanger door pocket

There is a small gap next to the legs of the front pasenger seat. If you go little bit uuup then down it fits perfectly...

Looks like it should go in the slot next to the drivers legs (where bonnet lever is on passanger side), but my manual is to large to fit.

slot next to the drivers legs to small for manaul, but have put a few cds in seems to fit ok
leave my manaul in the door pocket

Manual updated - space for it NOT.

Also there is little space around the key when in the ignition or do I just have big hands ?

I keep mine in the pocket behind the drivers seat - it fits perfectly in there !

yeh thts wt i do, fits fine behind the seats, the little hole to the right of the steerin wheel fits ur wallet lovely

Incedentally I found out a little bit of info on this 'issue' today.

I did a prep on an new 1.2 Ibiza and it comes with a new style service book pack. Its half the size of the normal one and fits inside he glovebox lid perfectly, as its obviously designed to do. No doubt its the idea just more than likely its taken this long for us to get english book packs in this arangement. The build sticker is a lot smaller in the boot also so its counterpart can go inside the front cover of the service book.

Yep, in the passenger seat back pocket, it's easier to grab from the drivers seat. The little cubby hole by my legs is for my emergency smoking supplies Never like being caught short

I've noticed this as well, only daft thing is the Customer Care booklet is still the same size, so doesn't fit inside the new smaller pack
