Should last a LONG long time as it is re-usable When cambelt is changed (usually 60/70k) do tensioner and water pump at the same time - the belt has to come off for those anyway. Get a metal/brass impellar'd pump too, not the standard plastic one. Will save you from having the dreaded dead-water-pump problem so many of us have.
