Can someone recommend me a replacement element for the Carbonio number once it's passed it's sell by date? :)

Also, is it common to change the tentioner, pump, belt and water pump? Any recommendations for a good price on a kit?

Cheers :)

have you cleaned it and reoiled it? Should last a LONG long time as it is re-usable :)

When cambelt is changed (usually 60/70k) do tensioner and water pump at the same time - the belt has to come off for those anyway.

Get a metal/brass impellar'd pump too, not the standard plastic one. Will save you from having the dreaded dead-water-pump problem so many of us have.

Where can I source the kit from?

Are GSF any good at supplying parts for the 1.8t lump?

kit for what? cleaning the air filter?

or kit for the 60k service?

GSF apparently stock the water pumps, but didnt when i tried them.
Cambelt, tensioner etc - try SEAT dealers ;)

GSF do the pump and belt kit.

I had mine done for £175 inc labour. (not inc. pump - that was done by prev. owner)
