No, it works only on single click. So automatic when you lock the doors. Long press still doesnt work.
Note that you have to be a beta tester and have the latest version of beta app.

What exactly do you mean by "Long press STILL doesn't work". I have the Carista beta but couldn't get the mirrors to fold - which would be nice. However long press does close the windows (always has). Are you saying that to get the mirrors to fold you have to lose the ability to close the windows. I'm not sure which I prefer - but I would like both.

No. You have to have the new beta version of the app. Ther is an option for folding mirrors: single click or long press. Single click works, locks the car and folds the mirrors. Long press only closes the windows, but does not fold the mirrors.

I tried that link and got the following:

Thanks - I tried the beta before but it didn't work. Now have the latest version (3.2) and it works a treat and, on my car, a long press still closes the windows as well as folding the mirrors. Can now enable/disable the feature via the MMI too. Super!

Interested in the battery charge display - anyone tried that? It says requires dash restart, so I haven't done that yet. The lap timer may be of interest to some - not to me - so I haven't tried that. Haven't had much experience of the much criticised turning fog lights, so haven't tried to disable it (yet).

Disabling corner lights works fine, but it seams its a testung feature for now, since there is only an option for the right fog light.
Battery charged level didnt work for me.

This is from Leon FR 2016 same multimedia as my Ibiza cupra 2016.

Can I have this theme with Carista?

Thanks,
Asaf.

Just got the latest Carista update - 3.2 Beta 6 and it doesn't appear you can - at least not on an FR Technology with the same multimedia as your Cupra (I believe).

You can have a lap timer, if that's of interest, just tried that.

So,
After enabling the wing mirror fold when locking option on Friday, it has worked a treat for a few days over the weekend. Get in the car this morning, key in ignition and the passenger side wing mirror folds too far out and faces the floor. Tried folding back in and then out again but no go. It's screwed! Anyone had similar?

I had a feeling this would have happened anyway as I used to fold my mirrors in every time I exited the car anyway with the switch.

I have enabled this function, I have done it by activating the option tick box in the mmi. It seems to be working fine at the moment.

Been thinkering with the beta 8 of Carista. Folding mirrors on long press still doesnt work for me :(. Beep on lock works. Also disabled headlight washers, as they only mess up the whole front.

Curious to know why do you want them to fold on long press, rather than short press (which does work? Obviously it means that you can't lock the car with the mirrors unfolded, but if they fold reliably (which seems to be unconfirmed yet) surely that isn't a problem. Personally find the folded mirrors a useful confirmation that I have locked the car.

I dont want them to fold every time. Maybe they will be reliable and the system will last for as long as the car itself, but if there is an option for a long press, i would like to use it and choose when to fold the mirrors.

Given FR's experience I can understand that - but there are those whose cars live on the street who will fold the mirrors in every day anyway - so they must be designed to expect that sort of useage.

But I may have egg on my face if my mirrors give trouble (but so far, so good)!
