cd changer cable in boot

1 of my mates used to av a mk3cupra and told me there was a cable from the radio to the boot for a cd changer, i,ve got a 1.4chill an had a look in the boot but cant find sh*t just wanting to know if there is 1 there

I used to have a 1.4 'vibe' which also didn't have the cd cable in the boot. Apparently well hidden under the boot carpet on the left hand side.

hi there, i also have a chill and its located on the left hand side of the boot, near the bottom, it will have a small round (2 pence pieces size) cut out in the carpet where it will pop out from

Thanks for that, looked for mine the other night and couldnt find it. will have another look tonight.

Just checked mine on ma dinner, had to take most of the boot carpet of on the left side and the cable was taped a little to the right of where the 2p hole is on the wheel arch.

ye i found the 2p cut outs to had a look an it was there, next question whats a decent but cheapish cd changer that will fit

i think its taped to the nsr inner wheel arch and sure ive seen its sony changers that work but there a genuine one in classifieds for £40
